2008 International Boat Show Sails Into Majorca
Imagine floating on a yacht over the beautiful azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea, sipping a cocktail off the coast of Spain. Sound like a dream come true? A visit to Majorca this spring will make that vision a reality.
The splendor of the sun and sea surrounding Majorca are ready and waiting for you to enjoy at the 23rd annual International Boat Show. The event will be held from April 26 to May 4 in the Moll Vell port area of the island. The show encompasses over 15,000 square meters on land and 30,000 square meters of sea. Nearly 300 boats will be featured as exhibitions in the event, which focuses on the recreational side of sailing. One could also expect to see a variety of faces off the 'Who's who' list as well.
The International Boat Show promises visitors a detailed look at the past, present and future of sport sailing. The event features motor boats, jet skis, light yachts, canoes, kayaks, rubber dinghies, auxiliary tenders, naval electronics and marine engines. There will also be exhibits on sport fishing and deep sea diving. Marine construction, accessories and equipment vendors will be on hand to promote the latest and greatest advances in sailing technology. It is sure to be the spectacle to see in the world of sport and pleasure craft from the Mediterranean area.
